‘Tonight’ (Oneul-bam) is the song that Bun-ok sings and dances to in EP02 as she washes up for bed, very nearly discovering Soo-ho. I can’t discern any hidden meaning to the lyrics, other than perhaps irony. I will say that Korean fans had fun with this sequence, comparing Soo-ho’s reaction to Bun-ok’s off-key singing to his amusement at Young-ro’s.
The song was first released in April of 1986 by singer Kim Wan-sun, sometimes referred to as the ‘Korean Madonna.’ She’s also one of the artists advertised on the Open House flier and the singer Hye-ryeong was pushing for so adamantly during the planning meeting in EP03.
