This deleted scene appears in EP07 of the script and would have come right before Gyeok-chan drags Cheong-ya off to the lounge ... only to learn their newest ‘hostage’ is none other than Moran-bong 1 and outranks all of them. Actress Yoo In-na speculated in her interview that the scene was cut because it was too early for Cheong-ya to learn for certain that Soo-ho has a reason to want to protect Young-ro. That said, when Cheong-ya pulls Soo-ho aside in EP08 and tells him not to screw things up over personal feelings, she opens with the line, ‘The ANSP director’s daughter hid you in this dormitory, I hear?’ — alluding to the below conversation.
