Tale of the Nine Tailed – Lee Dong Wook’s Thoughts Upon Wrapping

Yes, we just finished the final filming that was left, but...I’m not sure what to, how to put it into words... To be honest, I’m having trouble collecting my thoughts. We filmed for about six and a half, nearly seven months, and if you include the time we spent in preparation as well, yes. It’s really been quite a long time.

I’m not saying this simply because we put a lot of time into it. It’s a production that I’m very attached to. This story, these memories, seem like they’ll stay with me for a long time.

To be honest, this year now marks 22 years since I began acting, and...I’d become quite numb to endings and beginnings. When I’d start [a new project], I’d think, ‘Well, I guess we’re starting,’ and when it was over I’d just think, ‘Ah that’s right, we worked hard,’ ‘It’s bittersweet,’ that was the extent of it, but this project has touched me in a unique way. For the first time in a very long while...it was a drama that taught me the importance of ‘lasts.’ That’s the sense that I get.

Once I’ve had the chance to sort out my feelings, to sort out my thoughts, at that time, I’ll greet you again and make another statement. Thank you for loving the drama a lot, and also for loving my character a lot. And thank you sincerely for loving all of the actors that appear in our drama. Thank you.
